Omar is a Principal who specializes in incubation, investment, and providing support to portfolio companies in the healthcare sector. His focus encompasses a wide range of interests, including tech-enabled clinical services, the convergence of fintech and health-tech, and innovative solutions aimed at addressing health inequities.
In his previous roles, Omar served as a healthcare consultant at Deloitte and built value-based care products for providers as an early employee at Clover Health. He has also provided advisory services to various startups within the digital health ecosystem.
Omar holds an MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, an MPH in Health Policy & Management from Yale, and a BA in Global Affairs, also from Yale.
