Omar is a Principal focused on incubation, investment, and supporting portfolio companies across the healthcare sector. His work spans tech-enabled clinical services, AI-driven clinical infrastructure, pharma tech, and the convergence of fintech and healthcare, with a broader interest in models that expand access and improve outcomes.
Previously, Omar was a healthcare consultant at Deloitte and an early employee at Clover Health, where he helped build value-based care products for providers. He has also advised a number of startups across the digital health ecosystem.
Omar holds an MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, an MPH in Health Policy & Management from Yale, and a BA in Global Affairs from Yale.
